Sweet sherbet
I always do sparkles so here is a new girly fun and sparkly idea. Here is what it looks like:) and what you will need
You will need these polishes: (from left to right)
*chunky and small mixed glitter(I used L.A. Colors glitter #bcc 555)
*mint colored nail polish(Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail color in mint sorbet #340)
*Clear nail polish (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail color in clearly quick #110)
* Medium to pale pink (Wet n' Wild Wild shine in pink petal glitter #425b)
*a light shimmer pink (N.Y.C. Nail Glosses #211)
Make sure that your nails are clean from all other nail polishes. First you want to paint your two middle fingers the mint color. Then paint the rest of you nails the medium to light pink. Once this is dry out one thin layer of the shiny pale pink over the medium pink. Once this is all dry place a coat or too of the glitter over the top. Finally add the clear coat and let fully dry. it makes every outfit a little bit girly but not too young. You will be getting complements left and right.
Hope you enjoy this.:)

Something fun and sparkly
I get most of my ideas from cutepolish on youtube.com so definetly check her out. I look at her designs and put a twist of my own on them. I have small, short, skinny nails and sometimes things don't work or look the same way has they had been done by someone else. This was my take on what she did:)
So first things first, you always want to make sure your nails are clean and all previous polish has been removed. And then collect all the colors you are going to need.
You will need:
*clear fast drying nail polish
*I used a light mint but you could use a white nail polish
*atleast 3 neon nail colors
*silver w/ sparkles in it
*chunky glitter
*either a black nail art pen or black nail polish and some toothpicks
* a makeup sponge
*and something to make a small puddle of nail polish on. I use an old plate.
After this you want to start with the silver polish:) You want to paint your index and ringer finger silver. After letting it dry for a little add one more layer to make sure the nail is covered. You also want to add two to three layers of chunky glitter polish to add more to it and really make it pop. Once this is dry you want to add one layer of clear nail polish to conceal the look.
The next step, you will do to the rest of your nails. Get something to put a small puddle of nail polish on, such as a plate. you want to make a small nail polish puddle no bigger then a penny.
You then want to dip the corner of your make up sponge into the polish and pat it on the tips of your nails. Make this as thick and high up as you would like. let this dry. It should look like this:)
After this has dried grab your neon polishes and make dots on the tips. Make enough dots that you can make black brackets around the dots you just made. Then in the lank spots make some small black dots with the nail art pen. It should look like this.
After you have done the brackets and dots you want to make sure that it is dry completely before you put on a clear coat. After that you are done.
You will get a lot of complements. I work at the nursery at my church and little kids love it. It is a great way for them to get to know there colors.
Enjoy:)

Independence Day nails
I know that you want to show off your July 4th spirit but sometimes you don't want it to look to kidish so why not do something sophisticated.
Make sure that all previous nail polish has been removed and nails are clean.

Next you want to grab your favorite red nail polish and paint all of your nails except one. You will be painting that one a different contrasting color.
Next you want to grab some reinforcement labels such as these and place them on your nails like so. You then want to grab a dark blue and paint your nails where the tab isn't covering. It should look like this.
Let these dry for a little and the peel them off. To make the line between red and blue grab either a white or black nail pen. Place a line where the 2 colors meet. Once the nail art pen is dry put a clear coat over these nails.
Once this is done we want to move onto the nail that has yet to be painted. On this nail you can either use a glittery silver or a white nail polish. Once this is dry grab your favorite silver glitter and paint this nail a couple of times to get it as glittery and shiny as possible. Once these many layers have dried put a clear topcoat over it and let your nails dry.
I used these nail polishes: Sally Girl Nail polish in Sassy #812063; Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer Navy Baby #390; L.A. Colors Color Craze Lot# code 1734 #bcc 561; Sally Hansen nail art pen in black; Sally Hansen Insta-Dri #110 clearly quick
